I’m María José, but everyone calls me Majo. I’m a documentary photographer from Venezuela, now based in Houston since 2013. I’m passionate about capturing authentic moments and telling stories through my lens, always seeking to create meaningful, emotional images.

With a background in documentary photography and Early Childhood Education, I’m deeply connected to human relationships, especially the bonds between parents, children, and grandparents. This allows me to create photos that truly reflect your story, no matter the occasion — from events to maternity or engagements.

I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different cultures, which has enriched my perspective and helped me connect with families on a deeper level. I believe every moment is worth capturing, because life’s most precious memories are fleeting.
